Wednesday the 8th, we had another fantastic cooking class with a group from Argentina!
What fun we all had.
The evening got off to a rocky start as first, their bus got stuck in traffic due to an accident so this delayed their arrival by a bit but then the skies opened and it started POURING!!! Granted, we need the rain but is was so much that it looked like a river coming down the street. So this delayed them as well.
As soon as they arrived, we started off with a bit of our white wine to relax after the bus ride. Then we washed our hands and got to work making pasta by hand.
Handmade pasta is fun and hard at the same time. We don’t use machines at all. Mixing with our hands and rolling out with rolling pins. The pasta has to be paper thin so it is a lot of work. They all did a great job.
After the pasta we made the other dishes then we had a visit to the wine cellar to see how we make our wine. Those who did not go to the wine cellar stayed behind to dance!
After the visit, everyone sat down to eat the meal that they prepared accompanied by our wines.
It was a truly fabulous evening and we hated to see them all leave.
Soon we will post pictures of the evening so you too can see how much fun a cooking class with us can be.
